Do you own or operate a bar or restaurant?*
I’m seeking out tasting rooms, bars, and restaurants that specialize in any of the following: craft beer, cocktails, fine wine, or food specific to the region. If your establishment features any of the aforementioned and is in close proximity to a major sporting venue or easy access via public or private transportation to the game, please contact me. Establishments that have a happy hour, industry promotions or game day specials get major bonus points.
Are you a curator at a museum?*
I have a predilection towards museums that feature sports history or art. However, I will visit any museum if it’s FREE for all and I’m always willing to consider various genres. That’s not to say that I’m not willing to pay $25 for a completely awesome museum. I guess you can say I’m a critic. So similar to when I search for a hotel, bar, or restaurant, I’m in pursuit of value when I promote things to do such as museums.
Are you a hotel proprietor?*
I’m looking for hotels that cater to major sports events whether the hotel is right near a major sports venue, offers a shuttle to the big game or those hotels conveniently close to public transportation that also have a direct stop near the sports venue. I generally stay at hotels that meet the previous criteria and have a daily rate from $80 to $150.
Are you an avid sports traveler?
Do you often travel to sporting events and consider yourself a foodie, beer geek, or wino? Is there a place I missed or a place that you want to tell me about or write about that meet the criteria above?
Contact me to set up a phone interview and/or schedule a visit to your establishment so we can feature you in one of our travel guides.
*If an establishment’s Google rating is 3.9 or below, I’ll only feature your bar, restaurant, museum or hotel with a personal visit by me or a trusted associate. No worries! If I have nothing nice to say, I’ll say nothing at all.
