Bodega – Latin Market Food
1120 Central Ave
Saint Petersburg, FL 33705
Bodega on Central is a Cuban restaurant near Tropicana Field in St, Petersburg and a great option for grabbing a quick bite before a Tampa Bay Rays game. Bodega can be considered either a Cuban fast food restaurant, a coffee shop, or a juice bar depending on what your looking to eat or drink.
Bodega classifies themselves as Latin Street Food and the Cuban focus of this walk-up restaurant is clear. Bodega has a small menu of Sandwiches ($7 to $9) and Platos ($9 to $10) featuring such Cuban food items as Lichon, Frita, and of course, a Cuban Sandwich. Food is served in a paper box or plastic basket with deli paper and can be take to-go or you can grab an outdoor table near the street or on their patio out back.
Bodega also has Cuban style coffee if you just want to take a quick break and watch the passerby. If you’ve never tried Cuban coffee, I recommend trying a Cafecito ($1.50) or Cafe con Leche ($2.75).
While Bodega is primarily outdoor dining (street food), Bodega also has a Juice Bar inside the space next door selling different juice blends and smoothies for $6.50 each.
