Ciro’s Speakeasy and Supper Club is a prohibition speakeasy and cocktail bar near the SOHO District in Tampa. Besides serving great cocktails, Ciro’s also has a nice little happy hour, an upscale food menu, and romantic ambiance. Consistent with the speakeasy of the past, you will need to call ahead and get the password to enter.
Ciro’s Speakeasy serves well crafted classic cocktails along with a variety of contemporary house inspired craft cocktails ranging from $10 to $14. I took advantage of the $7 Old Fashioned on Ciro’s happy hour menu.
Ciro’s Happy Hour is Monday thru Friday from 5PM to 7PM and Saturday and Sunday midnight to 1AM. Happy Hour at Ciro’s Tampa includes a $7 craft cocktail menu and discounted food items that may vary. When I visited in mid 2018, Ciro’s happy hour bar bites such as Ciro’s Burger ($10), Duck Fries ($4), Black Truffle Popcorn ($3), and Raw Oysters ($2 each). Cir’s also has a Service Industry Night on Monday which will get you 20% off your entire check if you’re in the biz.
Ciro’s menu includes “From the Pantry” food items such as Crispy Duck Wings ($13) or Wagyu Beef Carpaccio ($13), “From the Farm” food items such as Chicken and Waffles ($16) or Wagyu Strip Steak ($34), and “From the Sea” food items such as Charred Octopus ($19) or Pan Seared Crab Cakes ($15).
Ciro’s entrance is on the west side of the building facing S Howard Avenue and not necessarily easy to find. I found it much easier to turn onto Howard and park on the street but I believe Ciro’s has a Valet as well off of Bayshore Blvd.
Like Bern’s Steak House right down the street, there is a dress code at Ciro’s including no shorts, flip flops, or caps and men are asked to wear a collared shirt.
