The TECO Line Streetcar System runs from Downtown Tampa to Ybor City

The most convenient Public Transportation to ride in Tampa is the TECO Line Streetcar System which runs from downtown to Ybor City. If you want to travel a little further, the Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART) includes about 25 different bus routes extending west to the Tampa International Airport (TPA) and extending north to the University of South Florida.

The TECO Line Streetcar System is a 2.7 mile line that runs about every 20 minutes from stops in Downtown Tampa then thru the Channel District and onto Ybor City. The fare is $2.50.  For a list of TECO stations, the HART Downtown map, or schedules see links below.

Other HART services include the Route 30 Town N Country / Airport bus which will get you to the Marion Transit Center in downtown Tampa from Tampa International Airport (TPA) in about 30 minutes.

If you want to catch an event at the University of South Florida (USF), take the Route 5 40th Street bus from the Marion Transit Center to the University Area Transit Center.
